Welcome to Koibito Anime. We are your most humble hosts Kira & Asuna, a married couple in our mid 20’s from Toronto, Canada.
We take a look at anime from both the Guy’s (Kira) and Girl’s (Asuna) point of view. We also try promote and review anime that guys and girls can watch together.
Both Asuna and Kira have been watching anime for about 10 years. The gateway anime for Asuna was Sailor Moon & Mew Mew Power, and for Kira it was Slayers.
We got married in the summer of 2007, and now that our lives have settled down a bit, we watch about 7 hours of anime a week, because its way better than anything else on TV (with the exception of “24″ and The Office).

I just saw your email and im really happy that someone actually got inspired by a lame blogger like me. Thanks ^^ and Hello to your wife. Seems like you and your wife are a fan of Clannad eh? I haven’t lay a finger on that anime. No time T_T will watch it soon though. And i like the idea of your goals which is to promote anime that couples can watch together. Its really cool. that girls and guys can watch ‘together’?that almost sounds like your saying girls dont(or cant) watch action animes.Please excuse me if Im wrong about this,but the way you said it made it sound like girls dont like anything but shoujo and romance.
