For a soliloquy to work it must have two elements. First of all it can’t preachy. No one wants to hear a 30 minute speech by a PETA freak on the importance of not running over skunks. And second it should be at a completely random moment. This week we hand out the Random Anime Award to the best Soliloquy of the year - no the decade.

Children & Memories by Yoshino Yusuke
What a better topic for a Soliloquy than the memories of children, the only thing that would have made the speech more perfect would have been the inclusion of puppies and macadamia nut cookies. And to make the soliloquy even more awesome was that in happens in between the base paths during a baseball game.
Thumbs up to Yoshino for learning from his mistakes - he called “Time Out” before the second soliloquy?
After watching Yoshino’s masterful performance it seems that Sunohara may have a rival in the comic relief department. After watching season one, we didn’t think that Youshino-san had this kind of performance in him. Call this one a pleasant surprise. We think CLANNAD season 2 will be chalk full of more surprises.
