Welcome to Funeral / Death-Count 2008 ladies and gentleman. We are all gathered here today to pay respect to those characters in Macross Frontier that have bit the dust this year, all in the name of our enjoyment. So please take a few minutes and pay your respects to our dearly departed below and leave a few words for those that left an impression on your life.

Gil
Well what can be said about Gil that hasn’t been said already…. Um we hardly knew you Gil, but you died one bloody / awesome death at the hands of the Vajra. If it wasn’t for your actions princess Alto and Ranka wouldn’t be alive today. Now that fact may anger some people, but we say “good job by you Gil.”
Blue Haired Rebel Leader
There are many words we could use to describe our blue haired zentradi, but we think everyone’s thoughts can be summed up with these three simply words - “Dude, you suck”. You were defiantly all talk and no moves. And you got your ass handed to you on a plate by a girly man. How did that feel? Thankful you didn’t grace us with you presence for too long, so for that we thank you.
Zentradi Victims of the Dimension Eater
By all counts there were many thousands of you that died in this explosion, and we wanted to take a minute and… congratulate you. For you took part in the most beautiful and spectacular explosion of the season. And this probably was the highlight of your lives. Be happy knowing that you’ll forever be a part of this beautifully animated history. It doesn’t matter that we can’t remember a single one of your names.
President Glass
As the highest ranking politician that has died on Frontier you deserve special mention. Well that is if it wasn’t for the fact you were an idiot who relied on others to do your work and keep you in power… *cough* …President Bush. So while some call you out for not realizing Commander Bad Hair-cut (Mishima) would betray you, we will still say a few kind words because you’re the beautiful Catherin Glass’ farther…. You had a great 70’s style porno mustache.
Michael
The relentless womanizer with a Loli-complex, just how Luca managed to outlive you is a still a head scratcher to us. At least you had sniper skillz, what the hell does Luca do exactly?
Anyways my friend, you left us just when we were starting to like you. But we have to ask you one question - why the hell didn’t you go through Zentradi-fication so you could hookup with the hotter Klan Klan? We bet your up there in anime heaven regretting that fact as we speak - aren’t ya? Well let that be a lesson for you when you get reincarnated in the next Macross series. Keep your fingers crossed that you don’t get reincarnated as a Zentradi pilot - they seem to have short live spans.
Well it wouldn’t be right to let you go without saying a few nice words. If it wasn’t for you, Alto would still think that girls have cooties, and so you should be applauded for your efforts. And you had spectacular teeth. Um…. We can’t think of anything else. See ya in the next life.
