Most Annoying Code Geass Character – Vote!

After watching Code Geass R2 EP 20 we realized that Suzaku was no longer the character that annoyed us the most. The honor has now been bestowed upon that king of charisma himself - Ougi. So just out of curiosity we decided to create this poll, just to see who you find the most annoying. 9 chocies below - select the one that pisses you off the most. You know - the one character you roll your eyes at or shake your head in disgust at when they enter the screen.

Lelouch

Sure the manipulating man-boy has a lot of fans, but some of you also find him annoying. Chief among some complaints about Lelouch are;

• He’s got no skill - he has to Geass others into doing the heavy lifting.
• He wears too much hair product. In some shots his hair is more greased than the dudes from Grease.
• He’s got a level 5 imouto-complex

Charles Di Britannia

Hold up a sec. Just to get it on the record - we love Charles, well not really Charles as much it is the voice actor Norio Wakamoto (Cell from DBZ, Richard Hellsing from Hellsing + 100 Billion other roles). But we know there are a few people that get annoyed with hearing the him yell - Lelouch! But we love it, if fact we’re gonna make that our ring tone.

But if you’re a hater of Charles, we can understand why. It’s his hair cut right? His old timey French style dreads? No that’s not it? Is it the fact that he likes to hang around little boys? Yeah that must be it.

Schneizel El Britannia

Lelouch’s half-brother can be annoying for different reasons than Lulu himself. Our biggest beef - he’s too pretty. No guys should look this pretty - he’ll he’s pretty than Alto from Macross Frontier, a feat that we thought was impossible. Reason #2 we are hating on Prince Schnitzel - he never gets his hands dirty. His live in nanny - Kanon tends to do most of the heavy lifting. And that’s the third reason we find him annoying - couldn’t he have picked a less girly looking man than Kanon as his man servant. Come on Schneizel, just come out of the closet already.

But all said Scheizel produces results and we can’t hate on a guy who has the guts to usurp his papa all that much.

Suzaku

Wow - we’re do we begin. Up until episode 20 of R2 there was a lot not to like about Suzaku. If you were to through a party - Suzaku would be the guy that you and friends would be arguing over - “Oh come on - do we really have to invite Suzaku.” He’s too straight laced, and has a horrible personality. When was the last time you heard Suzaku say anything remotely interesting? When was the last time Suzaku made a funny? (intentionally). Never that’s when. Sure the straight cop routine can work at times, but the problem with Suzaku is that he has some tainted sense on justice to go along with his dull personality. Of course all this changed in Episode 20.

Kallen

We love the worrier goddess, but one of our friends absolutely detests her. Our friend Jenny hates Kallen because as she puts it… she acts too much like a lap dog when Lelouch is around. We don’t really see it, but whatever we’ll include Kallen on the list, just so we don’t face the wrath of Jenny.

C.C.

The mysterious immortal witch has many many fans (just look at all the Code Geass Hentai featuring CC), so we’ll be shocked if she comes out on top on this poll. But if you’re a hater, it’s probably because of the ways she tries to seduce Lelouch even though she was bff with Marianne. Talk about a serious cougar appetite. If that’s not it, it could be her rather selfish personality. If not that then it might because she walks around in nothing more than her bra and boxer panties all the time (something Kira loves by the way).

Rolo

We don’t show sympathy for the anime dead here at KA. We think that Rolo is (was) one of the top 3 most annoying characters in CG. His Onii-chan complex was so high that it reached levels never before seen in the world of anime. Put up your hand if you think that he snuck into Lelouch’s closet at night and shot his rocks off. This little demented boy makes our personal top 3 list for killing Shirley is such a cowardly way. So dear friends, don’t feel sad voting for a dead character - together we can make this happen. Yes We Can!

Yuck. This makes us sick.

Ougi Kaname

Sure he’s managed to win the heart of the beautiful Villetta, so that may make him kinda cool. But this bumbling uninspiring commander somehow managed to take over for Zero as the leader of the Black Knights. He needs to show some gratitude. He probably would have been dead if it wasn’t for Zero. But no Ougi decides to stab him in the back at the first chance he gets. Oh and there is one other thing we find annoying about Ougi - his hair, someone should tell him disco died in the 70’s.

What’s up with the headband. Does he wear a fanny-pack as well?

Kaguya Sumeragi

The little 12 year old who knows much more than any other 12 year old in the history of world. Do you find her annoying because she’s “married” to Lelouch but would have no problem if he had a harem of girls. Or are you like us and find her voice so irritating that you hit mute when she’s on screen?
